Joel Askew Promoted to Risk Advisor and Team Lead

We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Joel Askew to the role of Risk Advisor and
Team Lead at Iridium.

Joel graduated from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business in 2018, earning a
Bachelor of Commerce in Energy Management. Prior to joining Iridium in April 2021, he worked as
an Insurance Sales Representative at a major national agency, specializing in auto, property, and
life insurance. Joel has shown great initiative in contributing to all levels of client interaction and
broking risks on several multinational accounts. He was a member of Iridium’s Insurance Market
Relations Team from December 2022 to September 2023 and has since become a Team Lead. He
is currently working towards obtaining his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) and Chartered
Insurance Professional (CIP) designations.

Joel’s promotion to the role of Risk Advisor reflects his continued dedication to Iridium’s core
values, the valuable relationships he has built in the domestic and international insurance
marketplace, and his expertise in our sector. Please join us in congratulating Joel on his
